Getting Bored.. Nowhere

Hi All!
Earlier i was saying... that i don find any boring here..
Can you folks list out why you feel boring? And what are the things stopping you from staying away from boredom. Before talking about boredom, you need to know what interests you. If nothing interests you, everything will be boring.
One thing common in most of we guys here is " we treat whole of Singapore as our work place ". Because this is not our comfort zone being away from our family, long time friends, next door neighbors, our festivals, zooming in two wheelers, tea kadai chit chat etc.
Machine life. Yes its machine life, for Singaporeans too. Not just for us. They are ready to endure it and at the same time, taking time off from this machine life.And then our currency value conversion factor... we are here only to earn in dollars and not spend for anything more of necessities. Here we will sit damn bored rather catch a movie, esplanade show, promotional sales at Takashimaya, enter Zouk or Ashoka. Well, Nothing is free anywhere... And Nothing is cheap everywhere.
How many of us are ready for a change... and how many of us tried eating satay, dumpling, popiahs. And how many of us like to spend our night out at Lau Pa Sat, Mohd sultan road, Clarke quay, Boat Quay, chalets or at least sit overnight in a coffee shop.
Still there are cheaper, interesting, constructive propositions I would like to make...
1. Visit nearby library or at least within few kilometers. Make a trip to the new NLB openedsomewhere near Bugis. Its awesome... one day not enough.
2. Bicycle around for min 1 hour a day or at least once a week.
3. Register in RCs at your neighborhood.
4. Why not learn mandarin now there are schools island wide.
5. Learn a music instrument.
6. Make a weekend shopping trip to Johor Bahru, or just visit to compare the prices. After all you are bored rite.
7. How about swimming pool, those who don't know swimming can choose to learn.
8. Petting a bird or potting a plant is also a good choice
9. Can go for driving lessons.
10.Try to cook a new recipe, or clean your toilet.:) (I always do these, when find time)
11. Volunteer in Sinda
There are lots n lots of things, we can think about doing and can do as well...Most of the working people in any developed country complain that 24 hrs is not enough for them in a day, may be to make money, work hard, booze, have fun n frolics, womanize whatever... Its quite strange to see someone saying bored. That means we have lots of time in our hand to get bored or to kill in other words. If that being the case, let us better start thinking of doing something or at least don't say in the public that we are bored.
